Straata is the successor to eVelvetRope.com. Straata has its roots in the word 'strata'; meaning layers. Each layer, or straata, will correspond to a distinct local vertical (i.e. ART|straata, FOOD&WINE|straata) and members can subscribe to the straata that most interests them. Straata will feature local and travel-based guides and editorial. The first edition is the NIGHTLIFE|straata and is loosely based on eVelvetRope.com.
Straata is a work in progress and will remain in closed private beta until it is ready to launch.
